PROP & MATERIAL DONATIONS
 We would greatly appreciate the following prop and material donations to help transform Oak Hill Church into a tropical island for our VBS 2022!
MATERIALS LIST

  • Large pieces of cardboard
  • Plastic tablecloths (different shades of blue & green)
  • Tarps (blue, green, brown)
  • Acrylic paints (all colors)
  • Paintbrushes (artist)
  • Pool noodles (bright colors)
  • White and blue tulle
  • Larger rocks (between 6-12” diameter)
  • Blue painters’ tape
  • Duct tape
  • Masking tape
  • Brown butcher paper
  • Cardstock (bright colors!)
  • Tissue paper (all colors)
  • Pipe cleaners (chenille wires)
  • Play sand

  • Sailor suits and hats, straw hats, Hawaiian leis, Hawaiian print clothing, grass skirts

  • Stuffed Snorkeler Materials
  • Full-body wet suit (preferably with hood, but not necessary); 1-inch dowls or PVC pipe (3’ & 6’ pieces); Styrofoam wig head; snorkel mask and fins (the snorkeler will be for display only, not for kids to touch)
  •  
  • Island Landscape, Animals, and Sea Life
  • Artificial tropical greenery (plants, grasses, palms, seaweed); driftwood; seashells (larger-sized), coral; stuffed, inflatable, or pre-cut tropical birds, sharks, fish, lizards, monkeys, snakes, sloth, sea horses, octopus, starfish, and dragonflies

  • Miscellaneous Island Items
  • Thick cardboard carpet tubes; ship wheel; treasure chests/trunks; lanterns; burlap sacks; plastic gold/silver coins; fake jewelry, gems, strings of beads; real or plastic gold/silver/bronze vases, candlesticks, goblets, plates, etc. (stuff to put in a treasure chest); rusty looking shovel; wooden oars; woven grass, straw, or bamboo mats; fishermen’s netting or hammock; burlap fabric; tiki torches; life preserver ring

Please put your name on all items and drop them off in the Drop Off Bin in the Foyer or the Children’s Ministries Office/Copy Room by Sunday, June 26.
