Ben Bigaouette, Lead Pastor
Pastor Ben and his wife Jenilee started attending Oak Hill in the summer of 2011 when they were newlyweds teaching at a private Christian school in Brooklyn Park, MN. After three years of attending Oak Hill, God placed a call on Ben's life to prepare for a future in pastoral ministry and attend seminary. Through the support of Oak Hill, Ben was sent to Lutheran Brethren Seminary in Fergus Falls, MN to begin this preparation. In the spring of 2016, Oak Hill called Ben to come back and serve as one of their pastors and he eagerly accepted. Ben enjoys spending time with Jenilee and their three children Luke, Madison, and Micah; pretty much anything related to sports; reading, laughing, and having great conversations about life. email Pastor Ben |
Josiah Militzer, Director of Youth Ministry
Josiah and his wife, Annie, began attending Oak Hill in June of 2020, after Josiah received a call as youth director. Before coming to Oak Hill, Josiah received a bachelors degree at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona and had served at Triumph Lutheran Brethren Church in Moorhead, MN, as well as at Inspiration Point Bible Camp. When working at Inspiration Point, God opened Josiah’s heart to a passion for the gospel and a future in ministry. Josiah is all about building genuine relationships as a venue for the gospel to be shared. While on his birth certificate, his middle name is not technically “fun”, Josiah holds to the not so well known 11th Commandment, “thou shalt not bore students”. Josiah enjoys spending his time with his best friend and wife, Annie, his newborn son, Judah. He also enjoys playing spikeball, basketball, any other sport that involves a ball, watching Minnesota sports, adventuring, and spending quality time with friends. email Josiah |
Jenilee Bigaouette, Children's Ministries Coordinator
Jenilee began attending Oak Hill Church during her undergraduate years at Northwestern University in St. Paul, MN. She and her husband, Ben, have been attending together with their family since 2011. Jenilee grew up as the daughter of a pastor and has always been involved in serving within the church. This is a passion of hers that reaches all ages, but especially younger students. Jenilee majored in elementary education with an emphasis in special education for her B.A. and she also received her Master’s Degree in Special Education from Bethel University. After teaching at a private Christian school in Brooklyn Park, MN for six years, she spent two years serving as the Children’s Ministries Program Assistant while Ben was in seminary in Fergus Falls. She looks forward to using her experience to further serve the children and families at Oak Hill. When she is not doing those things, Jenilee enjoys spending time with Ben and their three children, reading, being outdoors, shopping, and baking. email Jenilee |
