Current Sermon Series: Encounters with God
This series will focus on Scripture passages where God personally interacts with a person or a group of people. Our God is not a distant God that stays at an arm’s length. Our God comes to us; both to reveal himself and to meet our needs. What can we learn from these engagements about God and ourselves? What are the unchanging truths that God wants us to live in today?
This series will consider Old Testament characters such as Moses and Elijah. It will also include meetings with Jesus, the “Word made flesh,” as he blesses his followers and confronts his opposition. Let’s come together at Oak Hill on Sunday mornings as our God meets us once again in these important encounters that are as powerfully transformative today as they were on the day they occurred.
