Current Sermon Series: Pilgrim or Tourist?
This series is about God's call to live as pilgrims, not tourists. The Psalms of Ascent [120-134] will serve as our scriptural backdrop for this series. These are the psalms the Jewish people would sing on their way up to Jerusalem - we will sing them on our way to the "New Jerusalem." Since many essential items in our pilgrimage are incorporated in these songs, they provide a way to remember who we are and where we are going.

As we journey through this world there will be struggles and complexities. Some will basically be the same from generation to generation, and others can be new or at least very different. In this series we will look at walking as disciples of Jesus today as we journey home. The title of the series identifies one of the unique issues for today - Do we live as tourists or pilgrims?
