Nick Mundis, Pastor
Nick grew up north of Minneapolis in the Ham Lake area. He has a background in business, but has been in pastoral ministry positions since 1993. He has served congregations in Minnesota and New York. He has been married to Barb since 1992 and they have two grown children: Jack is married to Taylor and Solveig is married to Sawyer. In his free time Nick enjoys camping, hiking, fishing and playing games with family and friends.
Nick loves being a pastor. He sums it up like this, “What could be better than sharing the grace and truth of God’s Word with people; then just day in and day out sharing life together?”
Justin olsoe, worship director
Justin and his wife Meredith have been attending Oak Hill since 2014 and have loved getting to know the amazing people that attend. Justin has a Bachelors in Worship Leading from North Central University and a passion for corporate worship. He loves all things music and all things outdoors, including backpacking and camping. Most of all he loves Jesus, his wife, and his 4 amazing kids.
Armin Jahr, Youth ministry director
Armin came on board in 2023. He was introduced to the church by his wife, Christa. They are so excited to be a part of the Oak Hill community! God has blessed Christa and Armin with three little ones: Ada, Pepin, and Liesel. Armin grew up in Fergus Falls, MN and received his B.A. from Seattle Pacific University. He taught for 11 years before being called to seminary and church ministry. Armin loves helping others discover their place in God’s great story. He enjoys the outdoors and anything involving the arts and storytelling. Most of his free time is spent making up adventures with his kids.
Laura pilcher, children’s ministry director
Laura began attending Oak Hill Church with her husband, Josh, when they were newlyweds in 2007. Laura has a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She worked for five years at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview until becoming a stay at home mom. Laura has a passion for Children's Ministry and has been actively involved since 2012, which over the years has included teaching Sunday School, nursery volunteer, VBS Bible story teacher, Kidzone substitute / helper and Co-coordinating VBS. Laura enjoys spending time with Josh and their four children, Addison, Ryleigh, Noah and Lucas; being active, fishing, boating, crafts, cooking and baking.
Meredith Olsoe, Communications and Ministry Support Coordinator
Meredith and her husband Justin have attended Oak Hill since 2014. Mer and Justin got married in 2015 and have since had 4 little blonde kiddos, Freja, Tor, Steffan, and Henrik. You can find Mer in the office at Oak Hill, up on the piano as part of the worship team, or running around in the nursery with the kids. With a passion for Homesteading, she enjoys spending lots of time in the kitchen baking sourdough bread, out in the garden, or tending to the backyard chickens.
Alan Jermiason, Worship Technology Coordinator
Alan and his wife, Alyssa, have attended Oak Hill since 2017 when they first moved to Minnesota. Originally from North Dakota, Alan has a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Minot State University and a Master’s degree in Trumpet Performance from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. He is a freelance musician that regularly performs with different bands, orchestras, theaters, and churches around the metro area. Alan also works at the University of Northwestern where he is an on-call AV/IT technician for events held on campus. When they get the chance, Alan and Alyssa love to ski and snowboard. Alan regularly hosts live streams on Twitch where he co-hosts the channel ‘TabletopTwins’ where he plays board games live with his twin brother.
